Concierge and Sales Training
If you manage a property in which the heating, water or ventilation system has stopped working, your first thought will be to call an expert to fix the issue.
Concierge and Sales Training
Whether you are in charge as a concierge, sales representative or customer care manager, you may need to follow that correct first step by taking further action before the engineer arrives.
Wright Maintenance can show you how to switch off, adjust or isolate any equipment in communal areas and customer properties through our product training and emergency mechanical and electrical triage training sessions.
Our training sessions, held at your venue, are for the benefit of customer care teams, sales personnel, concierge teams and site managers and are free of charge once you have taken out a planned preventative maintenance and service agreement.
Heat Interface Units (HIUs)
Often mistaken for boilers, these transfer the heat from the community heating network to individual client properties
Cooling Interface Units (CIUs)
These transfer the cooling from the community cooling network to home air conditioning systems.
Twin Plate Heat Interface Units (Twin Plate HIUs)
Often mistaken for boilers, these transfer the heat from the community heating network to home central heating systems and provide instantaneous hot water to taps.
Storage Cylinders
These store water at a constant temperature and provide instantaneous hot water to taps.
Underfloor Heating (UFH)
This simply warms a floor or acts as a primary heat source instead of radiators, with the hot water generated from the HIU.
Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV)
This system extracts moisture-laden air from ‘wet’ areas such as kitchens and bathrooms.
Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR)
Combining supply and extract air in one unit, the system extracts moisture-laden air from ‘wet’ areas such as kitchens and bathrooms and then recovers the heat from this stale air via a heat exchanger to deliver tempered air to home living areas.
Isolation Points
These are located in various areas of a property or communal areas of a building, depending on the way that your mechanical and electrical network has been set up, and are used to safely isolate or switch off your service
Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
Often called air-conditioning units or cooling units, these simple devices consist of a cooling heat exchanger or ‘coil’ and fan.
Radiators
These transfer heat from the primary heat source such as the HIU and allow it to radiate around living areas.
