Our Service Plans
Wherever you live in London, our highly trained and friendly central heating service engineers are available to help prevent costly breakdowns, extend the life of your equipment and reduce your utility bills.
We charge just £180 plus VAT to service a single appliance, but you can enjoy a fantastic discount by opting to have all your home equipment serviced in one go for just £249 plus VAT.
Wright Maintenance’s central heating service engineers will inspect and record, and clean or adjust, all the mechanical units in your home as follows.
Heat Interface Unit (HIU)
- Clean strainers
- Record flow and return temperatures
- Record energy meter from flow rates
- Exercise all isolation points
- Check operation of safety valves
- Inspect operation of pump
- Inspect expansion valve and record pressure
- Record correct system pressure
- Check safe electrical isolation.
Underfloor Heating
- Record all flow rates
- Confirm actuator zone operation
- Confirm operation of programmers
- Confirm operation of thermostats
- Check floor room thermal image
- Exercise all isolation points
- Check safe electrical isolation.
Cylinder
- Check operation of safety valves
- Check operation of thermal cut outs
- Record hot and cold temperatures
- Check and record back up immersion heaters
- Inspect and record expansion vessels
- Check operation of discharge pipe work
- Exercise all isolation points
- Check correct operation of thermostat
- Record incoming mains pressure.
Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery Unit (MVHR – Ventilation)
- Clean filters
- Clean fan motors and blades
- Check condense pipe
- Visually inspect heat exchangers
- Check and record the air volumes to Part F Regulations
- Clean all air inlet and outlet vents
- Check safe electrical isolation.
Cooling Interface Unit
(CIU – Comfort Cooling)
- Clean strainers
- Record flow and return temperatures
- Record energy meter flow rates
- Exercise all isolation points
- Check operation of safety valves
- Inspect operation of pump
- Inspect and record expansion vessels
- Record correct system pressure
- Check safe electrical isolation.
Gas
- Service to manufacturer’s instructions
- Check safe operation of all appliances
- Test gas pressure
- Issue gas safety certificate.
Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV)
- Clean fan motors & blades
- Check and record air volumes to Part F Regulations
- Check operation of background vents
- Clean all inlet and outlet vents
- Check safe electrical isolation.
